You will play a vital role in driving the end-to-end recruitment process across the business, ensuring vacancies are filled with quality candidates within agreed timelines. The role partners with hiring managers to deliver a professional, efficient and compliant recruitment service, while supporting talent pipeline initiatives.

We have an exciting career opportunity for a service-oriented and well-organised individual as a Talent Acquisition Lead. You will play a vital role in driving the end-to-end recruitment process across the business, ensuring vacancies are filled with quality candidates within agreed timelines. The role partners with hiring managers to deliver a professional, efficient and compliant recruitment service, while supporting talent pipeline initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to selection, partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, competencies, and expectations before advertising.
- Source candidates across job boards, LinkedIn, ATS, referrals, and internal pipelines; screen CVs and conduct telephonic pre-screens to assess suitability.
- Build and present quality shortlists, providing regular progress updates and proactively escalating risks to time-to-fill.
- Coordinate interviews, psychometric assessments, and all related administration, maintaining accurate ATS records throughout.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and fair hiring practices across all recruitment activity.
- Track and report on vacancy status, recruitment activity, and key metrics.
- Deliver a professional candidate experience through timely communication and efficient process coordination.
- Build and maintain talent pools for critical and frequently recruited roles, contributing market insight and sourcing trends to support broader pipeline planning.
- Support internal mobility processes and drive continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and templates across the business.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years' end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within agriculture, FMCG or engineering sectors.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport required.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) as well as Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and current market trends.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation: BCEA, Employment Equity Act, and Skills Development Act.
- Excellent Client service, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
